If you saw sorority girls walking around with Fresh Prints bags and new sorority merch on campus, that was us.
To celebrate the launch of Studio Fresh Prints, we hosted an intimate gifting suite near two schools, where sorority girls could browse sorority merch from our new retail line, pick what they actually wanted, and customize it on the spot.
The idea behind the event was simple. Not every merch situation needs a full chapter order. Sometimes you just want one hoodie, a pair of shorts, or a tank that looks good with the rest of your college closet.
These were the first two stops:
Here’s what went down.
Stop One: IU Bloomington at Soma Coffee House
The IU event took place at Soma Coffee House on Kirkwood Avenue.
People came through in waves between classes, browsed our racks of apparel (hoodies, mocknecks, slimfit shirts, etc.), picked their item, and customized it while grabbing coffee. Sorority girls got to choose from tons of heat press vinyls and they also got to try heat pressing them on the garments themselves.
We wanted to keep the event intimate and fairly small so everyone actually had time to look through the options and find something they liked instead of rushing through the process. People had time to experiment with different heat press options and placements. Plus, they got to talk through their ideas before committing to anything. Watching everyone personalize their pieces in real time ended up being one of the most fun parts of the stop!
Stop Two: Texas A&M at Carport Coffee
The second stop happened at Carport Coffee near Texas A&M.
The venue itself was open to the public, but the gifting and merch selection were invite-only. So while the coffee shop stayed busy with regular customers, invited guests were browsing the racks and claiming their new sorority merch favorites.
This stop also included several Fresh Prints Campus Managers, which added a different dynamic to the event. It was great to see so many different students - whether they were influencers, student entrepreneurs, active sorority members - all in the same place!
The conversations we had with all of them are a big part of how ideas for future designs and products actually start. (*cough cough* And we’re never slowing down! Stay tuned for upcoming product releases.)

What sorority merch did guests walk out with?
Guests weren’t limited to one specific item. Instead, they chose from a curated selection and picked whatever they wanted to take home.
Some of the pieces available included:
- Heavyweight hoodies
- Heavyweight sweats
- Midweight sweatpants
- Custom shorts and sorority shorts
- Mock neck sweatshirts
- Layered tanks and custom tanks
- Slim-fit shirts for everyday wear
Color options ranged from classic neutrals like gray to more playful choices. A few pieces also featured patterns and details such as plaid letters and polka dots.
Once someone picked their item, they moved to the customization station. Heat press add-ons let guests add chapter details or small design elements so the final piece really felt like their own.
