How does Collegiate licensing for merch work?
Similar to Greek licensing, colleges/universities own rights to their logos, names, and mascots. If someone or a company wants to print those on products, they need permission from the school first. This is given in the form of a license, and only licensed companies can legally print and sell college merch.
Fresh Prints is proud to be officially licensed with 180+ schools in the U.S. and Canada, including WashU, UPenn, UMich, and UVA. That means your student organization, administrative team, or department can confidently create and order merch that’s stylish, high-quality, and compliant with Fresh Prints.
