How does a Group Order Link work?
First, you’ll need to choose the products you want in your group order or “shop” (tees, hoodies, sweatpants, whatever), and create the design/s you want for each item. If you haven’t created your own design yet, go to our Design Tool. On the Design Tool, you can use the built in Image AI, our 10,000+ completely customizable templates, our 10,000+ pieces of clipart, or upload your own images.
Once you have the final merch items, pass all of the details to your Campus Manager (CM). They’ll create a group order link for it and send it to you. You can think of this as your “limited-time store.”
Everyone in your chapter can click the link, pick what they want, place an order, and enter their payment details as they would on any regular online store. The only difference is, they won’t have to pay right away. The Group Order Tool places a hold on their cards.
The group order link includes a countdown in red showing how much time people have left to order - usually a set window of 1-7 days - and the tipping point.
When time’s up, the group order link closes and our tool automatically checks if the tipping point is reached (the tipping point is also shown when you click the link). If your group order tips, the order pushes through, payments are processed, and merch goes into production.
