What are the best products and garments for rhinestones?

Rhinestones can be used on most garments except the following:

• Sherpa Fleece
• Nylon and Water-resistant garments
• Terry Cotton

We can add rhinestones on elastic and ribbed garments but the stones in your design are at risk of falling off if the garment is stretched.

How big can rhinestone designs be and where can I place them?

You can add rhinestones to different garments and use them on different print locations. Since they’re heat-pressed using a heat-press machine, there are a couple of things to take note of when it comes to print size:

Standard	Your rhinestone design can go up to 15"w x 15"h
T-shirt Pocket	Rhinestones can be added on t-shirt pockets but they need to start 0.25" away from seams
On sleeves	Rhinestones can be added along the width of sleeves x 15"h; they must be placed 0.25" away from seams
Pant legs	Rhinestones can be added along the width of pant legs and x 15"h; they must be placed 0.25" away from seams
Shorts	Rhinestones can be added along the width and height of shorts; they must be placed 0.25" away from seams 0.25" away from seams
Kids garments	Your rhinestone design can go up to 11"w x 12"h
Max 5-panel hats	Your rhinestone design can go up to 4”w x 3”h

Rhinestones can’t be heat-pressed over seams. But let’s say you want to use rhinestones for custom zip-up hoodies. We can split your design in two, place each half 0.25” away from the seam (in this case, the zipper), and heat-press the entire design together. Can I mix rhinestones with other print types?

Yes! We can use Rhinestones with Screen Printing, Heat-Pressed Vinyl, or DTG.

• Rhinestones can be printed alongside Heat-Pressed Vinyl as long as the two print methods are 0.5” away from each other.
• Rhinestones can be printed on top of DTG designs.
• Rhinestone can also be printed on top of Screen Printed Designs without needing a 0.5" space in between.
